Apparently, there are others out there who, perhaps, feel the way I do.
Apparently, there are others who think the man is way off…
Why is it so hard for people to understand the dynamics of a playground bully?
Don’t they understand that only the weak can worship a strong man?
That by showering such a person with adoration and praise, they’re only solidifying their own status as those ripe for the exploitation from the bullies of the world?
Don’t they realize that by bowing to such a bully, they are perpetuating the endless cycle of violence?
And people wonder why the rest of the planet hates us so much…
They don’t hate us because of our ‘freedoms’, and our wealth.
They hate us because of the way in which we use and flaunt that wealth.
They hate us because we insist on running the recess as we see fit.
They hate us because we can’t play nice with others…
We have money, while others maybe do not.
So we go to other peoples’ houses, and think that the fact we have money should give us the right to behave in any manner we wish to behave.
I’ve seen this first hand.
I know this to be true.
We disrespect the cultures and traditions of other peoples, and then we become all upset, when someone takes umbrage at our lack of respect.
Because we don’t respect the other peoples of the planet.
Hell, we don’t even respect our own people.
we’d rather kill them, than treat them fairly.
We hate everyone… just like everyone else on the planet hates everyone else.
And of course, we are far from being the only bully on the block.
I don’t for one second think that we are.
People say that the only way to counteract those other bullies, is to be the biggest, baddest dude on the planet… the ‘our guns are bigger than your guns’ method of diplomacy.
How about no guns?
We haven’t tried that one yet.
Why don’t we give it a go, and see if we can make that work?
No cheating, now…
Until somebody comes along and makes everyone play fair, no one’s going to play fair…
So how do we counteract such prevailing hatred?
I confess to being unsure about that.
But the first step must surely be admitting the hatreds’ existence.
What we need is another messiah.
Preferably from somewhere in the Muslim world…
Because the introduction of religion has always calmed things down, hasn’t it?
Still, wouldn’t that just put a whole bunch of knickers in a twist around here?
She/he’d just wind up on some watch list, somewhere.
They’d just end up killing this one, as well.
Which puts Trump, to follow the analogy even further, in the role of… what…?
No, more like that of King Herod, who according to the Wiki, “was a Roman client king of Judea, referred to as the Herodian kingdom. He has been described as “a madman who murdered his own family and a great many rabbis”, “the evil genius of the Judean nation”, “prepared to commit any crime in order to gratify his unbounded ambition”, and “the greatest builder in Jewish history””. *
Well, I wouldn’t call Trump the greatest builder…
See yesterdays post for more on that.
And there hasn’t yet been a Massacre of the Innocents…
As far as we know…
Still, let the man become the president of these United States…
And who knows where his hatred will lead him.
