If there is one ‘speculative fiction’ author I had to point to as a great joy, and thus a great influence upon my life, it would have to be Asimov. Almost from the time I began reading for my own pleasure, his books played a pivotal part in my personal library.

His work as an editor on Sci-Fi collections is probably responsible for more authors become known to the general public than any other single reason I can think of. Many’s the writer I would give a try, simply because “Issac said so…”
But my first and most lasting impression came from a novel called Fantastic Voyage.
What a nondescript title, for such a seminal work.
The idea behind it gives me shivers of delight to this day.

Supongo que tienes razón … pero me pregunto si no podría ser un reflejo de lo que somos como seres humanos. No veo exactamente mucha moderación en su promedio de “hombre de la calle”, cuando se llega a fin de cuentas.
