Busy, busy, busy…

It’s that time of year… Which seems to have come a week early, this time around… So it feels entirely ungracious, on my part, but for the next little bit, you’ll have to suffer through a bit of dashed-off stuff, as I really won’t have the time for much of anything else. I hope you’ll understand, and stay with me, while we slog through this next little period of… … you know… … schtuff… Meanwhile, more from the recently completed Great Falls Balloon Festival, in Lewiston, Maine…

So, like, um… today…

Today… It’s today. The 100th birthday of the National Park Service. Everyone light a candle. … just not in any of our parks… What with climate change, and all of that… You know what? Skip the candle. Perhaps the best thing you could do to commemorate the occasion would be to patronize the nearest park/site/forest as often as you can. There’s a whole lotta beauty out there. All you gotta do is go see it.
