It’s that time of year again…

The start of the Wide, Wide World of Wonderful, Winter(ish) Sunsets shooting season…

That time when you’re so terribly desperate for light, and warmth…
And color… let’s not forget about color!!!

That one braves the elements in order to find any such semblance of said items.
No matter how frigid the conditions.

Which of course leads one to the never-ending search for sufficient warmth amongst the chills.

(Chills which seem to get chillier and, um… chillier… each and every year… by golly by gum…)

So I search…

For items which can inure me against the cold, and ensure I can endure for longer and longer periods outdoors.

(… for someone trying to stay out-of-doors, I think I got all those “in”-type words used in the correct sense…)

Anywho, there I am…
Scouring my part of the world, for the perfect item of winter wear…

Such as gloves…

Gloves that lets one operate all the buttons and dials of a DSLR, without necessitating the removal of said items specifically designed for the protection of digital interpersonal relational… um… relations…

I’m constantly searching for the pair of gloves thin enough to be of use to a photographer, yet thick enough to provide protection from the wind and cold…

You’d think, in this day and age, they’d have solved that particular problem by now!

They can send a man to the moon, but they can’t design a glove that’s of sufficient use to the photographers of the world…

Harrumph!

So, help me out, all you fabulous freezing photogs…

I’m open to suggestions, here…

Gotta protect them pointy-type appendages…

So, please, let’s get those suggestions rolling in…

… before the fingers become too cold to even acknowledge the receipt of said kind hints!
