I’m sure I’ve shared this, in one form or another, before… but I can’t find it now
But with work so dastardly busy these days (… that’s Mr. Dastardly, to you…) I just haven’t had the time or the energy to post anything of substance…
… if I ever did…
So it’s a (maybe… I sure as heck don’t know right at this precise moment…) oldie but a goodie…
The Great Wall of China… right at the beginning of Spring…
I must now sleep, for the morrow comes much too quickly…
And not even sneaking in on little silky soft bunny slippers, either…
More of a Lord of the Dance meets the Kansas City Cloggers of repute, with a healthy dose of flat-footed elephants stamping out flaming ducks kind of aggressive toe-tapping…
For somebody what ain’t making any music, we sure are beating out a mess of time, these days…
If you know what I mean by all of that…
Beautiful!!

I know Mr. Dastardly with or without the formality. It is worth passing him to get to see that beautiful picture of the blossoms by the Great Wall. Their quiet beauty stands in some kind of quiet memorial to all those who built that wall at such great human cost.

Indeed…
It was on this trip that I actively broke the first of two translators… in one week…
She finally begged off of hiking the entire stretch of wall, leaving me to my own devices…
